Frequently Asked Questions
No. My services are 100% free to you. My job is to gather as much information as possible from you and input it into our proprietary model to help us find the best franchises available to you based on your wants, needs, likes, dislikes, passions etc...Once we have done that, I will connect you with some of the top franchises in North America. The franchisor pays the consultant after the sale is complete for bringing them a qualified and well-matched candidate.
Together, we will determine if franchising is for you, based on your business readiness, your risk tolerance and your investment capacity.
There are a LOT of benefits when comparing a franchise purchase versus starting a business on your own - tried and true system; training; support; marketing and much more. A good franchise not only knows what to do, but more importantly, they usually know what NOT to do. That can save you valuable time, resources and stress.
We get this question all the time. There are a lot of factors that come into play when it comes to timelines. The franchise discovery process (after we've connected you to top franchise opportunities), which is usually done with a Franchise Development Director, can take up to 30 days or more. Once you have decided on a franchise, there is usually initial training and set up - that can take anywhere from a month to over a year depending on the industry and franchise you choose.
There could be licensing, permits, hiring staff, site selection and more to handle before you open your franchise (again, this depends on the industry and franchise).
And lastly - it depends on the new franchise owner. Some owners move very quickly and are up and running in no time. Others, take a more methodical approach and that can add time to your opening and launch.
